Floral Workshops
All of our workshop experiences focus on floral design techniques that are perfect for every beginner or those that would like to take their designs to the next level. Students are encouraged to explore their own style of design within the framework of guidelines demonstrated in these hands-on floral design workshops.

Registration for workshops is available in our online shop. Below you will find the full floral workshop schedule for the upcoming year so you can mark your calendar to save the dates for your favorites. Registration for individual workshops does not open until 30 days before the class so be sure to check back if you don’t see the workshop you want to attend in the online shop yet. Classes typically cost $50-$100, depending on the topic and materials being used. Please read each class description carefully before registering. All workshops listed are held at our flower farm in Anniston, Alabama.
Please note: registration for each Floral Workshop opens one month before the workshop date. For example, if the workshop date is August 30th, registration for that workshop will open on July 30th.
Class size is typically limited to 8-10 people unless stated otherwise; five students must be signed up for a class to run.
Students must be 14 years or older to participate. We use tools that may not be appropriate for younger children.
No refunds are offered for students who can not make it after registering.
In case of severe weather, the class may be rescheduled or canceled. Students will be notified in advance as much as possible and refunds will be issued as needed if Headley Flower Farm chooses to cancel a class.
2023 Workshop Schedule
Spring Centerpiece Workshop
Date: Thursday, May 25, 2023 - 6:00-7:30 pm
Location: Headley Flower Farm | Anniston, Alabama
The perfect Mother’s Day gift! Either bring Mom with you or come make a beautiful arrangement to take to her. Start the class off with a walk through the flower fields to learn about the beautiful varieties of spring blooms that are grown at Headley Flower Farm. Harvest your favorites to use as you design your own lush and overflowing spring centerpiece! Heather will lead the class in a demonstration on floral design basics, and then you will have time to create your own lush centerpiece design. A beautiful vase will be provided for each student and is yours to keep. Light refreshments will be served.

The Art of Hand-Tied Bouquets
Date: Thursday, June 22, 2023 - 6:00-7:30 pm
Location: Headley Flower Farm | Anniston, Alabama
There is something magical about a spiral, hand-tied bouquet! Come learn the art of crafting a European-style bouquet with the lush abundance from our farm. This technique is often used for bridal bouquets and for upscale arrangements. After a quick walk around the farm to gather some extra special blooms, Heather will lead students through a detailed demonstration. Students will then craft their own bouquets and can choose to finish them with a satin ribbon and paper wrap or place them in a cylinder vase for an easy arrangement to take home. Light refreshments will be served.
